Mallorca through my eyes

The long summer days are my favorite time of the year ‘cause I number among people born in the summer. Looking at the pictures we did last year in Mallorca, I suddenly became eager… we shortly expect a vacation in a sunny place. ❤  If you haven’t planned yet a getaway at the sea this year, I hope this place will be an inspiration for your next trip. I‘ll return there every time with great pleasure.

Moments spent on a sunbed at the beach, with a mojito in your hand, while the turquoise Mediteraneean Sea mirrors in your sunglasses, are the moments that awaits you if you’ll plan to visit this island. You’ll desire to stop the time instead. You could get used living like that, isn’t it? 🙂

What we did in Mallorca outside of many pictures? 🙂 Of course our goal was primarily to relax. Curious by nature, we tried to get in as many ‘cale’ (as they call bays) on the island . Were days when either we rent bikes, going to outlying beaches, or, another ones when we rent a chic little car, quite common on the island, a Fiat Punto, which has led us to the capital, Palma de Mallorca.

We stayed at Vincci Bosc de Mar, a hotel with an amazing seaview, close to the most beautiful beaches on the island, nearby Cala Ratjada.  The Son Moll beach, Cala Agulla and Cala Gat are some of our favorites. In Palma we were impressed by the Le Seu Cathedral and its architecture, the seaport and Castillo del Belver, dominating the landscape, this castle atop the hill offers a wonderful view of the entire city. The flora and the fauna are outstanding, many palm trees, mediterranean vegetation and, of course, lots of multicolored fishes. So, for snorkeling enthusiasts like my husband, obviously you hit the perfect place. 🙂

So much to say: I’ll let the pictures speak for themselves.

Wish you all a wonderful weekend,
